Hi, my name is Richard, a Brit. I really enjoy my Aix Walking Tours , this beautiful town and its history is such a great combination . I have met lots of interesting people from all over the world and had a lot of great reviews,all thoroughly deserved !
I have lived and worked in the UK, USA and Asia . A few years ago we took a 15 month family trip around the world. I got to know what makes a good walking tour - Smaller groups,a guide who knows the facts , but also the stories , the characters , the fun, what its like to actually live in the city. I want you to understand Aix and even want to live here ! Or at the least come back and visit again.
The Tour
We will explore the history and sights of old Aix town. Always a small group , so you will be able to hear easily, no need for headphones like on those massive groups.Nobody looks very happy on those tours. You can ask questions, take photos and stop in the shade.
At the end of our walk together, you will understand the history of Aix, whats going on here today , and how that history is influencing todays town. Why do we start at the Apple Store ? Not just because its easy to find.
Aix is also great for shopping and daily markets, we will be seeing all this, as well as my current favourite bars and restaurants. I live in central Aix.
Its an easy walk, its pretty flat , only about 5 steps up.
The tours last approximately 2 hours.

A lot of my walks now are for friends of friends visiting Aix and from recommendations of previous guests. It does mean if you get in touch, I can try to be pretty flexible on time if not already booked.
Tours start in front of the APPLE STORE
Normal Times 10 am or 3pm
Cost is E40 per person for 2 or E35 for 3 or more Children under 13 free
