About Me
Hi, my name is Richard, a Brit. I really enjoy my Aix Walking Tours , this beautiful town and its history is such a great combination . I have met lots of interesting people from all over the world and had a ton of great reviews on Tripadvisor but for the last couple of years I now only take bookings direct.
I have lived and worked in the UK, USA and Asia . On a long family trip around the world, I got to know what makes a good walking tour - Small groups . A guide who knows the facts , but also the stories , the characters , the fun, what its like to actually live in the city. I want you to understand Aix and even want to live here ! Or at the least come back and visit again.
The Tour
We meet in front of the Apple Store at La Rotonde, super easy to find.
We will stroll through the history and sights of old Aix town. Always a small group , so you will be able to hear easily, no need for headphones like on those massive groups.Nobody looks very happy on those tours. You can ask questions, take photos and stop in the shade.
At the end of our walk together you will understand the history of Aix and why we start at the Apple Store, not just because its easy to find.
Aix is also great for shopping and daily markets, we will be seeing all this, as well as my current favourite bars and restaurants. I live in central Aix.
Its an easy walk, its pretty flat , only about 5 steps up.
The tours last approximately 2 hours.

Availability,Times and Cost
I am now only available for walks for 3 or more . If you are just a couple,sorry you will have to pay for 3 tickets , but it will be just us 3 , always fun. If others join us, I will refund you the extra ticket.
I now do walks primarily for friends of friends visiting and from recommendations of previous walkers. It does mean if you get in touch, I can usually be pretty flexible on time.
Tours start in front of the APPLE STORE
Cost is E35 per person for 3 or more. Children under 13 free
